HIV rate in the state: 248.6 per 100,000 people
Delaware is one of the states where you would think HIV wouldn’t be much of an issue, again considering that it is considered to be a virus mainly in the big cities or states. However, something that might explain this issue is that the Interstate-95 goes through the state, and the health workers believe that route allows the easy transport of drugs and thus injections, which are one of the main sources of HIV.
