When looking for cheap deals you’re always going to wonder how they’re managing to pull off such low prices. After all, they must be cutting corners to make it all possible, otherwise every airline would have the same ticket prices, right? Airline Ratings has recently published a list of the top 20 safest airlines in the world, and, along with it, a list of safe low-cost airlines for those that aren’t looking to spend the big bucks for their travels, but still want to be safe during the trip.

The site takes into account several aspects when giving out ratings. One big aspect is them not having any kind of fatalities in the past ten years. Then, it’s important whether the airline is endorsed by the FAA in the United States, whether they’re IOSA and ISSA certified, or whether they’re on the European Union’s black list or not, to name a few. Since all the airlines in the list have received maximum score the list is going to be in alphabetical order. Let’s see which are the top 10 safest low-cost airlines in the world.
