It could be because of their high population and many hospitals, which would mean the state is in dire need of these professionals. They pay them well, but would most probably not keep them from struggling to really sustain a decent living in the Golden State. Still, when people look for jobs, employment rates most likely seal the deal. In this case, it looks like a done deal.
