So observe their body language and watch out for any suspicious movements. When a lying partner wants you to believe them, they will often look you straight in the eye. However, because they are afraid you won’t believe them, they might stare for too long or look down. Because lying is stressful to almost everyone it is difficult not to accidentally reveal something thanks to body language.
