9. Li River

This majestic river snakes through the southern part of the country, but the most scenic and stunning spots are between Guilin and Yangshuo. Flanked with quaint farming villages, and with steep cliffs as a backdrop makes this place an inspirational stop on your visit here. It’s no wonder why many famous Chinese painters came here to get their creativity juices flowing.
