Have you been at the worst airports in USA? Airports should be the starter of our excitement when it comes to traveling from one place to another. Yet, because of the low-cost facilities and insufficiency of a concrete budget, most airports are left undeveloped. And in the case of a frequent travelers, backpackers, honeymooners, and business flyers, the scene of  a terrible airport is just frustrating, knowing that we pay for a high-cost airfares yet we see no improvement at all.

In contrast to our recent post about the 11 best airports in the US, we created our very own list of the worst airports in USA too! Let us raise all our concerns with the injustice of paying an expensive fare but left to use a poor facility and dissatisfying service. Who knows, maybe we’ll be the ones to put an end to the wrong doings of each airport in our list! Plus, who would keep on booking a flight to a low maintained airport? Unless we’re left without a choice.

11. Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

Ft. Lauder dale-Hollywood International Airport is located in Florida. This airport is known for its poor service and insufficient amenities. Moreover, it’s hard to reach the airport itself for you have to endure the exhausting traffic jam. Snack bars and shopping facilities are even in their lowest quality.

10. Miami International Airport

Ranked as the tenth worst airport and located in Miami, Florida is recognized for their poor ratings of facilities. Miami International Airport offers a good security among travelers but it can be time-consuming especially during check-ins.

9. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport

One of the worst airports in the USA is situated in the state of Texas, the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. Because of its huge dimension, passengers get bored and irritable due to a long way of getting to this side and to the other part of the airport. Huge facilities also have a low time performance.

8. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Georgia is one of the pioneer states of America yet she is a home of a horrible place called the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The irony is, it is the biggest airport in the world yet, it can’t provide a satisfying service to the travelers that transport here every day. What a shame that Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport can’t even provide enough seats for the passengers waiting for their flight.

7. Philadelphia International Airport

The Philadelphia International Airport is undoubtedly one of the worst airports in USA for abundant cases of delayed and canceled flights. There’s even a long wait and standing in the line to use their bathroom.

6. Washington Dulles International Airport

Indeed, it is one of the terrible places in a metropolitan center of Washington. The security system in the airport is notoriously awful. It’s a poor place to spend your delayed flight time into. If they would only have enough funds to fix these little things, Washington Dulles International Airport wouldn’t be on the worst airport list.

5. Chicago O’Hare International Airport

When passing by the infamous Chicago O’Hare International Airport, one can always expect delayed flights. It is also the second most difficult airport to reach. It has a far distance from one terminal to another. Don’t even think of time conserving when lodging in Chicago O’Hare International Airport, you’d only get disappointments and sighs.

4. Kansas City International Airport

Kansas City International Airport is known as the “Outrageous Airport”. Travelers complain about the volume of people in line to use the comfort room. The security screening is poor as well. This airport needed a lot of securities because it lacks the manpower to guard the whole terminal.

3. Newark Liberty International Airport

Placed in New Jersey, known for the late flights and canceled flights. The airport stinks so much that you wouldn’t even consider dining in the fancy food bars in the area. Sometimes, you would even come to a point where you wonder where all your travel and airport taxes go.

2. Los Angeles International Airport

Los Angeles International Airport offers you nothing but horrific experience. Commuters would often protest because of the petty but high priced food options. Like the previous airports in our list, Los Angeles International Airport is also difficult to reach and this made us consider the airport as one of the horrendous in the USA.

And the worst airport in the USA as of today is…

1. LaGuardia Airport

It is situated in New York and ranked as the number one worst airport. It is also known as “Full time loaded Diaper” Airport. It is the most crowded and the busiest airport as well. The airport needs to re-construct the facilities of bathrooms to get rid the disgusting smell of the overflowing urine. Without a doubt, LaGuardia Airport is one of the most unpleasant sites you wouldn’t want to be in.
