8. Chirripo National Park
If you want a little adventure, you can climb their number one attraction which is the Cerro Chirripo, the highest peak in Costa Rica at 12, 533 ft. Once you’re already on top of Cerro Chirripo, you can see the magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean on a clear day. It is one of the safest places to visit in Costa Rica that offers a wild experience! Safety tip: Check the weather before heading to Chirripo for it can be it can be extremely cold sometimes.
