No. 10 Fnatic

Despite what many thought, Fnatic came into the World Championship Tournament as the second European team. Over the past year the team performed well. Yet, xPeke and crew still have to improve some teamwork moves and coordination to reach the top of the chart.

One of the most well-known teams lands at number ten. Which nine topped them as the best LoL teams in the world? Keep reading to find out.

No. 9 Team Solomid

Team Solomid a.k.a. TSM, had some amazing victories this year. Both LMQ and Cloud9 were beaten by TSM in back to back best-of-fives. The team isn’t yet in the international stage, but everyone thinks they might have what it takes.

No. 8 Cloud9

Despite losing to TSM in the playoffs, Cloud9 has had an overall better performance than TSM, and is definitely better prepared for international matches. Nevertheless, Cloud9 needs to step up and start working harder in order to remain among the top LoL teams.

No. 7 OMG

This group is one of the most internationally visible Chinese teams. OMG had a great performance during 2014 and got an invitation to the 2014 All-Star event. Yet the team has some weak spots, mainly with support players and coordination. They have to work hard to regain the position they had when they first started out.

No. 6 Star Horn Royal Club

The Star Horn Royal Club has a fierce and creative play style. The team finished in second place in the 2013 World Championship, capturing the attention of fans and opponents. The team has very talented players and has displayed a very strong game since their struggles in LPL playoffs.

No. 5 Alliance

This Swedish-centric group started competing last year with an excellent team. Competing as Alliance HyperX, the team has had a great season despite their rather lousy performance at the spring split. Alliance has great teamwork, and they will surely be showing some strong performances in the years to come.

No. 4 Edward Gaming

EDG team is near the top of the chart, and is probably the best non-Korean team around. The Chinese group came in as a new face in LPL e-sports. They are very strong, and have premium teamwork and keen objectives and vision control. Nevertheless, EDG hasn’t played to the Korean level yet.

No. 3 Najin White Shield

This team is probably the best new team around. After killing it in the Korean Regional, they blew out the entire KT Rolster organization. The strongest point Najin White Shield has is their teamwork and objective control. Yet, player quality is still outshined by Samsung teams.

No. 2 Samsung White

Indeed, there has been some debate around which Samsung Team is better. Some say White is better than blue, yet, it wasn’t able to beat Blue in 2014 until the championship. Samsung White is the second best LoL team, and is thought to have the best support player in the world, and they tend to control the early game.

No.1 Samsung Blue

Our number one LoL team is Samsung Blue. This team not only has the best mechanical skill and top players at every position, but also does amazing team work, with strategic play and coordination. The team works as a perfect machine.
