9. Involvement of MI6
A former officer of the MI6, Richard Tomlinson, alleged that the MI6 was responsible for the death of Diana, stating that he had seen plans pertaining to the use of bright lights in a tunnel to cause a crash. While a commission was held to determine if there was any truth to these statements, the commission determined that the statements were mainly embellishments and even Tomlinson admitted that he may have gotten the facts wrong. However, many people think he was simply paid or threatened to shut up and prevent the truth from coming out.
