Perhaps the title “7 easiest natural science classes to take in college” sounds a bit weird if you think there isn’t anything easy about science classes, but it turned out the other way. Actually, it seems that plenty of students would recommend taking some of them if you need extra points.

But, let’s start from the beginning. When talking about the easiest science class in college, we definitely don’t have the easiest science majors in mind. If a course is a major, there’s hardly anything breezy about it. And if you have already enrolled to study science, you’re going to pick what interests you the most, regardless of what everybody else is saying. Who cares about genetics and disease if it’s really solutions and experiments that warm your heart? It definitely requires a lot of time and effort to obtain the highest grade, but it’s very rewarding. Expectedly, most of the suggestions were related to arts and films (for instance, you could study Twilight if you wish), but there were a few fun science classes in college which students agreed to be the easiest. An introduction to law, for instance, can’t be too different everywhere, can it?

7. Medical Terminology

Before you freak out because it suggests medicine, let’s first say it’s an online course, so you can breathe a sigh of relief. More or less, if you’re a fan of Grey’s Anatomy, this is your dream minor.

6. Physics 153: Light and Color

The University of Oregon has quite a few easy science courses up its sleeve. This should be the easiest science class with a lab since it’s pretty much about photography and mixing pigments of color. In addition, you get to brag you’ve passed your Physics with an A.

5. Physical Geology

If the rocks and earth layers have always interested you, perhaps it’s high time you dabbled in it during college. It’s studied at the University of Houston, but you can find it practically anywhere – this is an introductory course for geology majors.

4. Intro to Astronomy

While we are mentioning introductory courses in our list of 7 easiest natural science classes to take in college, how about learning about the stars and planets? Fear not, it’s only a basic course, not astrophysics. No insanely complicated calculations here.

3. Astronomy 121

Taught at the University of Oregon, this also seems to be based more on descriptive language rather than any calculations. The professor is said to be a real joker, too.

2. Geology 304 and 305/ Age of the Dinosaurs

These are two different names for the same course. If you have anything at your college which involves studying Tyrannosaurus Rex, go for it. After all, if Ross from Friends could have a Ph.D. from it, why couldn’t you pass a simple exam?

Biological Science 003 simply had to be at the top of our list of 7 easiest natural science classes to take in college since there is hardly any student who hasn’t chosen it! One of the reasons is probably the fact that it doesn’t demand a final exam – you just need to keep a journal. Oh, and it’s not that much about notorious biology.
