4. Social Engineering
Social engineering is a term used for a variety of methods that can be used to get access to confidential information. The key point here is being close to the person you want to hack, in this case, your friend. The first option of social engineering can include trying to get the key information about password by asking seemingly innocent questions like: “I’m not good at making up passwords, how did you come up with yours?” and similar. Also, since you know a lot of info about your friend, you can try and guess the password using the important information like friend’s mother’s name, favorite band or book, etc. This all can be a lot easier if you pay attention while your friend types in the password and remember a few of his strokes.
