3. Linebacker
This position is great to secure a scholarship, if you are larger and stronger than the average person your age, and you have an adequate aggressive disposition required to be an effective Linebacker. As it is not unusual for coaches to give scholarships to kids who will need 1 or 2 years to develop to compete in college-level games. If the coach sees potential in you, even if you lack some elements of the necessary physique, you will end up with a scholarship to your name. But as required by the position, you need to be an all-round athlete even to be considered by the coach.
