I asked for a football for my birthday and I received one.  Also, I am not a child. I grew up watching and following college football more closely than the pros. It is almost more interesting to get to watch amazing athletes when they are still honing, as the perfect their game. 5. Quarterback

Our first pick is the quarterback. We picked quarterback because coaches tend to give scholarships to quarterbacks first, so they can develop them for a couple of years. They also tend to have 2 or 3 quarterbacks on a roster–so they’re are backups and replacements, as it is such a pivotal position. However, being a quarterback is one of the hardest jobs on a football team, you must memorize and run the plays. You are the team leader. There are several styles of quarterbacks that teams use depending on the formation and offense that’s right for the talents of the players. You need to look for a team that suits your play style or be very versatile. Being a quarterback is also physically demanding as you will mount the main offensive for your team, you should be above average height, strong, quick, have a knack for play-calling and finding open space, and obviously, be able to throw accurately and far. 4. Receiver

If you are tall and fast, much faster in a short burst than a quarterback–then you could perhaps get a scholarship playing as a receiver. Also, if you are lacking a little bit in height, then you will have to look for programs that will cut down on height for good 4.4 or faster speeds. Therefore this position offers you some more options for a scholarship. If you are fast enough on the field, have the ability to get open from defense and make catches, even if you are not that tall, you can walk away with a full scholarship playing as a receiver. 3. Linebacker

This position is great to secure a scholarship, if you are larger and stronger than the average person your age, and you have an adequate aggressive disposition required to be an effective Linebacker. As it is not unusual for coaches to give scholarships to kids who will need 1 or 2 years to develop to compete in college-level games. If the coach sees potential in you, even if you lack some elements of the necessary physique, you will end up with a scholarship to your name. But as required by the position, you need to be an all-round athlete even to be considered by the coach. 2. Defensive Back

But, to ensure a scholarship, you must be exceptionally fast and agile in the field.
