5. Mortal Kombat X
With the revival of Mortal Kombat a few years ago it was only natural that they would make a Mortal Kombat for this current generation of consoles. Mortal Kombat X continues from the 9th installment by introducing a future timeline and new characters. It also changes things a bit by adding new elements not present in other games of the genre. What’s amazing is that Mortal Kombat is starting to replicate online competitive games by continuously updating and balancing its characters.
