You do not go to Iceland just to see the dancing lights of the Aurora, but also to get the status of the employed person. At least that is what one thinks after reading that Iceland has an unemployment rate of only 2.8 %. The unemployment rate for women is 2.5 %, which is 0.5 % lower than the unemployment rate for men. In 2015 Iceland had the unemployment rate of 3.3 %, while in 2016 it was 2.8 %.
