9 Best Cooking Classes in Long Island

6. Bravo! Nader

Chef Nade Gebrin is known for his warm manner and the hugs and kisses he shares with regular customers. When he’s not cooking for the masses, he offers classes for which he prepares a different menu every time. The classes are scheduled on Sundays between 12 and 3.30 PM, and they’re done in a classroom style. Every class he’ll teach students how to prepare four different items, but the classes aren’t hands-on, which means you will only be taking notes while you watch the chef do his thing. You will, however, get to enjoy the dishes when he’s done cooking them.

The class costs $100, and you’re welcome to tip the staff. At the most recent class they cooked grilled pineapple with brie and prosciutto, stuffed calamari, steak tar tar, and monkfish emiliano.
