17 Most Requested Karaoke Songs Of All Time

There’s nothing like watching a drunk person get up on stage to belt out one of the most requested karaoke songs of all time.

Karaoke is probably something I will never do in a million years. Honestly, I don’t think there could even be enough alcohol to give me the bravery to go on the stage and sing in front of a venue of strangers. On the other hand, when I’m in the car or in the shower, I love belting out, out of tune lyrics to my favorite songs. Many people, unlike me, love a good karaoke bar, which you can find lots of in any city. From the best karaoke songs for bad singers to the best karaoke songs for men (and the best female karaoke songs), there’s really something for everyone to sing. If you fall into that category of bad singers, take a look at our article on the best karaoke songs for people who can’t sing. Whether you’re good or bad at singing, it’s all fun and games, and a lot of times its fantastic entertainment.

When I think of upbeat karaoke songs, I think of “Ice Ice Baby” or something by Whitney Houston for some reason. Country music also comes to mind when I think of what are good karaoke songs. There’s really not one thing that defines a “good karaoke sign” since it all depends on your vocal abilities and preferences in songs, and probably a song that most people in the crowd would recognize. This criterion is basically summed up by this list of most popular karaoke songs of all time. Songs like Adele’s “Hello” and Drake’s “Hotline Bling” topped lists of popular karaoke songs 2016. As far as the best karaoke songs 2017, The Chainsmokers’ “Closer” and Drake’s “One Dance” are definitely popular choices. That’s mainly because people can follow the lyrics pretty easily.
