It doesn’t mean if you are working your dream job that it won’t be stressful. First, we used CareerCast, Business Insider and Rate My Job as our sources to see what are the least stressful jobs. After we had collected the information from our sources, using Bureau of Labor Statistics, we found the median pay for each job. After we had found the median pay, we took the highest paying jobs and we sorted our list by it starting from the least to the highest paying one.

11. Economics Teacher (postsecondary)

Median Pay: $95,770

This job includes both teachers who are engaged in teaching and teachers who are doing a combination of both teaching and research. In order to work as an economics teacher, you will need more than five years of experience, a bachelor degree, master’s, Ph.D., Md., or J.D. and on-the-job training. This is one of the least stressful jobs you can do and earn a high income at the same time.

10. Materials Scientist

Median Pay: $99,430

We are continuing our list of low stress jobs with high pay with material scientists that are earning pretty high income because they are doing a research and studying structures and chemical properties of different synthetic, natural or composite materials. 8. Economist

Median Pay: $101,050

People who are working as economists that rank 8th on the list of low stress jobs with high pay are interpreting and forecasting market trends. But, despite that, they are also studying the production and distribution of goods, resources, and services while analyzing data and evaluating economic issues. Most of them are working in an office, independently, but they are also often collaborating with other statisticians and economists. Most of the economists have a master’s degree or Ph.D. but, there are some entry level jobs which are accepting with a bachelor’s degree, like the federal government.

7. Astronomer

Median Pay: $104,740

We are continuing our list of low stress jobs with high pay with astronomers that are studying certain types of events and celestial bodies, for instance, black holes. They may also study the nature of time or even the origin of the universe. Astronomers are spending their working hours in offices but, often they are conducting their research in observatories and laboratories. They are studying the ways in which different forms of matter and energy are interacting, but they may also study the nature of time or the origin of the universe. One of the least stressful jobs and yet the second highest paying is natural science manager. They are supervising the work of scientists including biologists, physicists, and chemists.
