Top 25 Largest Private Companies in 2013 in the US

2013 has been an overall good year for the US economy, as it has finally began to slowly recover after the financial recession. Today, we would like to present you with a list we have compiled of the top 25 largest private companies in 2013, ranked according to revenue generated these past 12 months. The figures used in the making of this countdown were taken from the survey released by Forbes Magazine, which contains a total of 224 companies amassing a combined revenue of $1.61 trillion, 8% more than in 2012.

Several companies have made the cut for the first time, the most notable appearance being that of Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL). The PC software company landed straight on the number 3 spot, making it the first time a newcomer enters straight in the top 10, since Chrysler also did so in 2007.
