How the index works

The index starts at the close on the earliest published allocation’s effective date. We review selections quarterly. Published allocations take effect at the closing price on their stated rebalance date. Between updates, weights drift as holdings rise or fall. There is no automatic quarterly reset.

Returns use Intrinio closing prices adjusted for splits and dividends, for both the index and SPY. SPY is an exchange-traded fund tracking the S&P 500. Changing the displayed dates rebases returns without changing the underlying holdings.

This is a hypothetical, fully invested USD index with fractional positions. Returns exclude trading costs, fees, and taxes. Weights at the last rebalance show the allocation at that close; current weights reflect subsequent performance. When required prices are missing, the chart stops at the last complete valuation.

Price data: Intrinio. Historical results may change after provider corrections or a documented allocation correction.
