The Philippines is a developing country in Southeast Asia, and the country has seen a fair share of political turmoil and economic disasters in the past. However, strong reforms are on the way and the general quality of life for people in the Philippines is improving. However, the death toll from Asthma was still pretty high in 2014, and thus the country made it into our list of countries with the highest asthma rates in the world.
