8. Iris – Goo Goo Dolls
One of the most popular alternative rock bands during the 90s, Iris was a song made for the soundtrack of the 1998 film City of Angels. The song was then later released on the album Dizzy Up the Girl, and it is responsible for a lot of success the Goo Goo Dolls achieved. It’s also considered one of the most successful crossover songs of the time, topping three different genre charts on radio.
