1. Madagascar

While The Black Death still regularly occurs throughout Asia and Africa, Madagascar is the most endemic country of them all, therefore it ranked the first among the 10 countries where Black Death still exists. From the total of 626 cases of plague in 2014, 482 of them were reported in Madagascar, and 112 people died from the Black Death.
