Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers You’ll Wish You Didn’t Know

Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: The Walking Dead is back, and along with that come the zombies, the deaths, Terminus, and the many other great elements that make up this blockbuster show. After the end of season 4 there were tons of questions left unanswered. Who are the people in Terminus? Are they actual cannibals? Where are Maggie and Glenn? What is going to happen to Rick and his crew? Where is our remaining Team Prison group, the ones with Rick’s daughter? And where’s Beth? Does she have any connection to this place, or is she being kept somewhere else?

The Walking Dead

Comic book writer Robert Kirkman said we’d have a major cliff-hanger and that’s fair to say the least. There is no Terminus in the comic books, although a good chunk of the episode followed Issue #57, and the final line was tied to #64. It’s hard to know what’s next, but Season 5 is finally here and, as always, there are spoilers coming. Some may be fake, while others will be dead on (no pun intended) but the most important thing is that The Walking Dead is back!

Now then, since the season has already started, let’s do a little recap of the first episodes. The good thing is that between seasons 4 and 5 there have been no time-lapses. We are back at Terminus and things are about to get intense. Episode 1 started off with a bang; literally, when Carol (Melissa McBride) was forced to explode a gas tank on the Terminus lot, and the Terminus residents were revealed to be cannibals. But no one expected a major death to occur so early on.

While a lot of Terminus folks lost their lives in episode 1, the first character death from Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) group of survivors came in episode 3, “Four Walls and a Roof.” In episode 2, Bob (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) was captured by Gareth (Andrew J. West) and the Termites after walking outside the church. The Termites cut off his leg to eat it — but Bob got the last laugh. At the beginning of episode 3, Bob revealed a bite mark from a walker and told Gareth’s people they had been eating “tainted meat.”

Let’s take a look now at some Walking Dead Season 5 spoilers, dividing them by characters.

Glenn (Steven Yeun)

Glenn almost dies in the first episode of season 5 but he is saved by Carol when she attacks Terminus and explodes a gas tank. Lucky break for Glenn? Do not get your hopes up. According to the comic book series, Glenn is killed by a character named Negan. Even though this character has not been introduced in the series, there have been some rumors indicating that Kevin Durand was offered the part of Negan in the show.

Tyreese (Chad Coleman)

Tyreese has been struggling with killing humans and walkers alike since joining the series. In the Season 5 premiere he spared the life of one of the Terminus residents and that ended up backfiring. Could his difficulty with engaging in violence be his downfall? Rumors are that Tyreese will end being killed by one of Rick’s team given his doubts and fears of killing. Remember, you are as strong as your weakest link.

Beth (Emily Kinney)

This one is about to be cleared out in the next episode that will air November 2. Episode 4 shows that Beth is trapped inside a hospital in Atlanta. This episode is titled Slabtown and will focus on Beth and her captors who are pretending to have rescued her from the zombies. According to the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, the Atlanta Hospital members are another set of survivor, but may prove deadlier than the cannibals of the Terminus.

Daryl (Norman Reedus)

There are a lot of questions being asked about Daryl, in my opinion the most bad-ass character in the show. But recently Daryl posted some Twitter pictures showing an injured hand, which led to characters raising the question, “is he going to lose his hand this season?” Other rumors about this character are if he is going to end up with Carol or Beth. But producers of the show have made it clear that this season, romance will not be a part of Daryl’s apocalyptic life.

These are some of the spoilers that are going to be cleared up in the upcoming season. This season promises to be the best yet, revolving around moving out of the woods, introducing new groups of people, and ensuring plenty of gruesome deaths along the way. Remember, in this world, everyone has their death written in stone. We just have to wait and watch what happens next.
