Marketing and promoting a product is already challenging on its own, and it’s amplified when having to do damage control when something inconvenient or negative takes place. Public relations executives are assigned to handle press relations and public announcements. It is also their duty to make sure the company’s reputation stays intact–which is where the stress comes in.
