Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) Built The Ship, Adobe Systems Incorporated (ADBE) Drew The Map, But Will They Find Treasure?

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) and Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) have been collaborating for quite a while, but it’s only now that this produces some very promising results. The companies’ CEOs, Satya Nadella and Shantanu Narayen, have presented key applications that promise to make the usage of Surface Pro a productive and pleasant experience, according to Mashable.

Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE)

This comes after Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) adopted a stronger focus on cloud and mobile, which presented some difficulties for the tech giant to conquer. Many argue that it wasn’t historically possible mainly due the company’s software for that segment was inelegant, at best. Now, Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) promises to change the perspective.

There’s a new version for the Illustrator application, which allows drawing on the tablet with only pen and touch. The piece of software has also practically all the utilities necessary for the editing process. In case it’s not enough, the new Photoshop, called “Playground” on the devices, assures a user friendly manipulation to the technical extent the desktop homologous operates. Then, there’s also Project Animal, which is basically a Kinect-like face recognition animation app, it can record movements and sounds with a fascinating precision. The best part is that it’s not all they’ve got.

“We’re working on many areas. There’s touch, there’s audio, there’s speech, but one of the things we shared with the crowd here last year is we were working on this project Context, which is all about at the end of the day creators really care about displays and pixel perfect and how they do collaborations,” Shantanu Narayen.

This latest mentioned project designed and developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) for Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) is a software meant to favor working in a collaborative manner. This tool allows sharing and manipulating different kind of files or documents.

It’s not clear where this relationship between the two tech titans will head to as Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE) powers many utilities for Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s operating systems, on which some applications work exclusively. Nevertheless, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) seems to have gotten a clearer idea of what it should do to reach consumers in mobile.
