Mastercard Inc is throwing a party and they want as many ladies as possible to attend. Just a few days we reported on several initiatives geared towards women in tech, Mastercard Inc (NYSE:MA) has announced a two-day developer challenge in which the credit card company is making a call to female developers. And it comes with some nice prizes too. MasterCard Canada is encouraging all female professional and student developers to participate in its MasterCard N>XT developer challenge, September 28 and 29.

@UK (LON:ATUK) is to extend its partnership with debit & credit card issuer Visa Inc (NYSE:V) to launch cloudBuy, Asia Pacific’s first business-to-business (B2B) global e-marketplace solution. The UK-based e-commerce solutions provider is hooking up with Visa to offer cloud-based real-time integrated services in the Asia Pacific region, thereby enabling Visa holders a convenient way to make purchases online in a safe environment.

Survey: American Express ranked highest in customer satisfaction (Whec.com)
The credit card known for having the best perks has taken the number one spot for credit card satisfaction. According to a survey by J.D. Power, American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) ranks highest for the seventh straight year. The study was based on responses from 14,000 consumers and measured factors such as billing and payment, rewards, problem resolution and benefits and services.

Blue Label Telecoms: Spazas to get MasterCard terminals (Business Report)
JSE-listed Blue Label Telecoms is partnering with Mastercard Inc (NYSE:MA) to roll out point-of-sale devices to 22 000 small traders, which will enable them to accept card payments for the first time. The firm said on Wednesday that it would install more than 15 000 EMV-certified terminals with MasterCard mobile software that could process payments made by chip-based and contactless payment cards. Traders have historically accepted cash only.
