Trailing 12-Month Profit: $252 million

Headquartered in Paris, AccorHotels (official name Accor S.A.) was founded in 1960 and is a French multinational group of hotels. AccorHotels owns 3,700 hotels ranging from economy lodgings to five-star hotels. Some of its well-recognized brands are Formula 1, Novotel, Suite Hotel, All Seasons, Ibis, Etap, Motel 6, Pullman, Sofitel, and Mercure. The company recently announced a new brand of hotel, Jo&Joe, which is inspired by co-living and hostels, doubtless due to expectations that co-living will become the next big trend in the hospitality industry. With reported profit of $252 million, Accor is the eighth-largest hotel chain in the world based on profitability.
