Springtime is the perfect opportunity to be outdoors and experience the beauty of New York. NYC looks great in the winter and there’s plenty to enjoy, but as the temperature rises and the flowers begin to pop up, there’s so much more to experience and look at. If you have anyone special in your life, you might want to take them to some of these spots. New York City has so much to offer that there’s seldom a time where you may think to yourself “I have nothing to do.” Granted, there are a lot of things that cost a ton of money, but if you try hard and believe in yourself you can find free things to do. When the weather gets warmer, you can simply walk around the park and it’s entertaining. Street performers are almost always putting on a show and you can get a cheap hot dog if you’re trying to be frugal. It’s a little easier to spend less money and be outside than it is in the winter. When it gets cold outside again you can take a look at some of the romantic winter date ideas in New York City.

In order to create this list, we took a look at some recommendations from NYC Tourist, Y Travel, and Groupon. We considered a variety of options that span many interests, though of course what you find fun is up to you and your date. There isn’t necessarily an exact science for ranking these, so we simply sorted it by how often and how high up each recommendation was ranked from our sources.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at some romantic things to do in NYC this spring.
