With around $12 billion in assets under management at the end of 2013, Kevin Michael Ulrich's Anchorage Advisors is primarily invested in credit and special situations, with a pocket of investments in bank debt. New York-based Anchorage Advisors was founded in 2003 by Kevin Michael Ulrich and Anthony Davis. They do seek out distressed investment opportunities, and in the equity world, a long/short, fundamentals-driven approach is their calling card. Anchorage Advisors returned 20.9% in 2013 and 16.4% in 2012. Both Kevin Ulrich and Anthony Davis previously worked at Goldman Sachs.
