11. Sigma Rho Fraternity

Active National Chapters: Only the Collegiate Council (University of the Philippines Diliman)
The Sigma Rho is a college-based fraternity which gathers the law students of the University of the Philippines Diliman. As the Sigma Rho Fraternity is officially recognized by the university, it has produced many lawmakers in the Philippines. In fact, several members of the fraternity have topped the bar examination results in recent years. It is one of the top Philippine fraternities as it has the most number of members that work in the executive, senatorial, and other government-related fields. Juan Ponce Enrile, Franklin Drilon, and Edgardo Angara are some of the popular members of Sigma Rho Fraternity. The Scouts Royale Brotherhood was founded on September 22, 1975, at San Sebastian College, Manila. Despite the small number of its chapters nationwide, the coed fraternity has branches abroad in the U.S., Canada, and Qatar. The Scouts Royale Brotherhood encourages high school and undergraduate students who want to have a successful and extraordinary life. 9. Alpha Phi Epsilon (Epsilonians)

One of the top Philippine fraternities and sororities is called Alpha Phi Epsilon. The Epsilonians don’t focus only on building a lifelong camaraderie among its members but romote the importance of education in pursuing the organization’s goals. Not to mention that Alpha Phi Epsilon promotes social involvement and community service. The fraternity was founded on September 28, 1961, at Notre Dame University Cotabato City. The Epsilonians have created history by expanding their group internationally that is now recognized as Inter-Collegiate University Service Fraternity and Sorority International.

8. Alpha Theta Omega (Althonians)

Active National Chapters: 79
The Alpha Theta Omega fraternity and sorority was founded on November 27, 1968, at the Central Mindanao University. After 47 years, the national organization has established a total of 79 chapters in the county. Despite not having an international chapter yet, the Althonians have managed to persuade Filipinos mostly in the Visayas and Mindanao to join the brotherhood. Besides the number of chapters the Alpha Theta Omega has in the Philippines, they have several core values Filipinos can take a lesson from. Mostly, the Althonians give importance to education, brotherhood, and service to Filipino and non-Filipino people. 7. Beta Sigma Fraternity

The Beta Sigma Fraternity, founded on July 14, 1946, joins together a total of 95 collegiate chapters in the Philippines, making it one of the best known fraternities in the country. 3. Alpha Phi Omega (APO)
