FBI Insider Trading Probe Results in Criminal Charge in Oklahoma City Federal Court (Newsok.com)
The FBI has been conducting an insider trading investigation of the former chairman of Marathon Oil Corp., The Oklahoman has learned. Dennis Reilley, 66, of Oklahoma City, was replaced as chairman Feb. 1. He served almost six years in that position with the Houston-based oil and natural gas exploration and production company. The investigation has focused on whether insider information was provided about the impending merger of a global medical supplies company, Covidien PLC, with its rival, Medtronic Inc. Reilley was a director at Covidien.

Wednesday 2/27 Insider Buying Report: BCBP, COT (Nasdaq.com)
As the saying goes, there are many possible reasons for an insider to sell a stock, but only one reason to buy – they expect to make money. So let’s look at two noteworthy recent insider buys. At BCB Bancorp (BCBP), a filing with the SEC revealed that on Monday, Director Vincent Didomenico Jr. purchased 100,000 shares of BCBP, for a cost of $12.64 each, for a total investment of $1.26M. BCB Bancorp is trading up about 2.4% on the day Wednesday. And at Cott Corp ( COT ), there was insider buying on Tuesday, by CEO- S&D Coffee and Tea Charles R. Hinson who bought 51,405 shares at a cost of $14.88 each, for a total investment of $764,701. This purchase marks the first one filed by Hinson in the past twelve months. Cott Corp is trading off about 1.6% on the day Wednesday.
