Fursa Ups Frederick’s Stake Amid Talk That Company May Go Private

Frederick’s of Hollywood Group, Fursa Alternative Strategies: Frederick’s of Hollywood Group Inc (OTCMKTS:FOHL) is now 85% owned by Fursa Alternative Strategies LLC, according to a filing with the SEC. Fursa Alternative Strategies reported ownership of some 87.7 million shares, which have a total value of $19.29 million, at the current price of Frederick’s stock. Previously, Fursa disclosed ownership of 18.87 million shares, which represented 47.4% of the company.

At the end of September, Frederick’s received a proposal from a consortium of several investors, including Fursa, which involved the company going private. The members of the consortium offered to purchase all of the outstanding shares of the company at a price of $0.23 apiece, Frederick’s said in a statement.
