Richard Blum Trims His ITT Educational Services Position

Blum Capital Partners/ITT Educational Services: A major shareholder of ITT Educational Services, Inc. (NYSE:ESI), Blum Capital Partners, managed by Richard Blum, reported Selling shares of the company in a Form 4 filing with the SEC.

In this way, Blum Capital Partners, which is one of the funds we track, disclosed unloading 700 shares at a price of $31.12. The shares were owned indirectly by Blum Capital Partners via  Blum Strategic Partners III, L.P, which after the transaction holds around 1.41 million shares.

Another transaction involved selling 675 shares held by Blum Strategic Partners IV, L.P.. After selling shares at the same price as mentioned above, Blum Strategic Partners IV, L.P. remained with around 1.45 million shares.

In the most recent 13F filing with the SEC, Blum Capital Partners disclosed owning almost 3.3 million shares of ITT Educational Services. Robert Joseph Caruso‘s Select Equity Group held 3.3 million shares, while SAC Subsidiary Sigma Capital Management owned around 945,400 shares.
