3. Lithuania

Similar to Slovakia, the residents of Lithuania are unhealthy due to their eating, drinking, and smoking habits. 26.3% of its residents were reportedly obese, and obesity contributed to 14.63% of all deaths in 2017. The consumption of pure alcohol on average for every resident over the age of 15 was a huge 15 liters per year. Moreover, 28.8% of its adult population were engaged in tobacco consumption in the year 2016, a figure that places Lithuania among the higher tobacco consuming countries. All these habits contributed to high blood pressure being the number one reason of deaths in the country; it took 14,130 lives in 2017, which were calculated to be 54.41% of all deaths in Lithuania that year.
