While Hainlin hints at the bond market signaling a “chop market,” Bobrinskoy suggests that past trends have shown that stocks have consistently outperformed bonds in terms of returns. Overall, both analysts hint that the economic outlook and its impact on the stocks and bond market are uncertain and cannot be predicted accurately.

Towards the end, Bobrinskoy adds that if the economic outlook pushes the Fed to stabilize interest rates, some value sectors, including housing, auto supply, financials, and energy, would offer great returns in the future.
