9. American Express

Another American brand to make it into this list, American Express is the biggest credit card company that spends a lot on Facebook. They’ve recently put large investments on social media marketing. They even have an app for Facebook that displays how long you’ve had an American Express card.


8. Unilever

Given the many products and brands under Unilever, it’s no surprise that they spend a lot to maintain each of them. Unilever has spent lots for advertising not only on Facebook, but on other social media websites as well. One of the recent marketing strategies they’ve been employing is through viral videos.

Another company that has a lot of products and brands under its name, Nestle has been investing heavily in online advertising these last few years. They even sponsored the famous grumpy cat in a string of ads a few years ago. Nestle isn’t looking to cut costs on advertising any time soon.

Mobile companies have been on a rampage when it comes to online advertising especially with the recent mobile integration of Facebook.
