What are the 10 most popular clothing brands for guys? Some men are up-to-date when it comes to fashion and trends. However, many could use some help in choosing the right brands and styles of clothing for their body type, the occasion they’ll be wearing the clothes, and their budget.
When it comes to shopping behavior, a study conducted by a Toronto consulting firm showed that “men buy” while “women shop”. The study also showed that men are more likely to be destination shoppers, while women tend to enjoy the journey to that destination, being excited more by the hunt. Nevertheless, men still constitute 41.4% of the people frequenting the aisles of Walmart, Kohl’s, Target, and Kmart to shop for clothes, according to AdvertisingAge.
Since men tend to look for something specific when they visit stores, they tend to have particular brands in mind even before they make shopping plans. We sought to find out what those brands are that men want above all others, so women know how to shop for their men (that is, if they care what their men like and aren’t more interested in putting them into what THEY like), and men know what brands other men like the most.
Our list of the 10 most popular clothing brands for guys has been sourced from Ranker, a site for opinion-based, crowd-sourced rankings of almost anything under the sun. While the site started out as a mix of user-generated and editorial content, most of its lists today are a product of its editorial team, shaped by users’ opinions, which they voice in the form votes. Ranker’s lists go through a lot of re-ranks, specifically after about 100 visitors have cast their votes. For uniformity’s sake, we intentionally skipped those brands that are privately owned.
Based on the votes cast by thousands of pollsters, today’s 10 most popular clothing brands for guys are: Abercrombie & Fitch Co.
