Although originally named Ellens dritter Gesang (Ellen’s third Song), the number one on our list of easy but beautiful piano pieces that sound impressive became popular under the name Ave Maria. There were many uses of this piece, for example, Franz Liszt’s adaptations. You can also hear it in the last part of Disney’s famous film Fantasia.
