Warren Buffett has become so successful that his name has come to symbolize success itself, Suzanne Woolley argues in a comedic report on Bloomberg.
“With a halo the size of Saturn’s rings, everyone is itching to be pulled into his orbit – and we mean everyone, especially when it comes to headline writers who love to anoint people and use his name like its Mad Lib,” Woolley said.
However, the question remains whether these “Buffett-esque” personalities are worthy of being compared to the acclaimed investor, the Bloomberg journalist said. Do these people who are being compared with Warren Buffett have anything in common with the Oracle of Omaha who’s net worth is now at about $67 billion?
Aliko Dangote, the richest person in the African continent who’s worth about $22 billion, has been called “The Warren Buffett of Africa,” Woolley added. What can only be considered the direct link between Dangote and Buffett is that the former owns a food and beverage company and the latter owns Heinz, Woolley said.
Other people who have been compared to the admired investor, Woolley went on, are LeBron James, Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Woody Allen. It seems that Warren Buffett has indeed become synonymous to achievement in any given field.
