Twitter Inc (TWTR), Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (USA) (LGF) and Eli Lilly and Co (LLY) Are Top Choices for Monday Trading: Fast Money Crew

Top picks for Monday’s trading by CNBC‘s Fast Money Crew seem to be across the board. Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) represented the technology sector while Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (USA) (NYSE:LGF) represented the entertainment business and from healthcare sector the lucky contender was and Eli Lilly and Co (NYSE:LLY).

Steve Grasso was long in Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR) and seemed confident that the stock would pay off n the long run. The micro blogging platform experience a healthy spike towards the end of the day on Friday. Whether this was because of Mark Cuban’s laurels for Twitter, naming it the best search engine on the web, or some other exogenous factor is something we may never find out.

Either way Grasso seemed as confident about his stock pick as Guy Adami about Eli Lilly and Co (NYSE:LLY).

“[…]Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR), I picked it up last year as my stock of the year, I was a year too early. I am going with Twitter and I am staying long,” said Grasso.

Despite two recent downgrades, one by Bank of America and the other by Deutsche Bank, Adami saw a bright future for the pharmaceutical company.

“Two downgrades and one upgrade, the stock goes higher from here,” said Adami.

Tim Seymour remained undeterred by the falling stock price of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (USA) (NYSE:LGF). Even though the stock has fallen nearly 5 percent year to date and was last seen trading at $32.75, Seymour believes that this is the right time to go long.

Mark Rachesky’s Mhr Fund Management is the largest shareholder of Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (USA) (NYSE:LGF), according to the filing on 30th September last year. The fund had invested nearly $1.7 billion in the entertainment company.
