The Sunday Times is out with its list of UK’s wealthiest hedge fund managers. Alan Howard of Brevan Howard who was at number one position last year is still maintaining his number one position. Alan saw his wealth increasing to £1500m from last year’s £1400m last year thus registering a growth of £100m. Alan has a very concentrated portfolio with his top 5 holdings constituting about 55% of his portfolio. His top holdings include Sector SPDR Trust, Ishares Trust, Materials Select Sector SPDR, Sector Spdr Trust and CME Group Inc.
Alexander Knaster of Pamplona Capital Management was the runner up with a total wealth of £m 1095. There were many shuffles in the list but the most notable changes include Martin Hughes of Toscafund, who jumped eight places to 7th position, and Yan Huo of Capital Investment Management, who ended up at 9th position from 24th last year among the U.K.’s wealthiest hedge fund managers.
