10- Chivas Regal Royal Salute 50-years-old

This whiskey was specifically made to celebrate the golden jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. When the queen ascended to the throne in 1952, Chivas Regal laid a barrel that aged for 50 years. At the year of her anniversary they opened the barrel and bottled only 255 of this product. It is said that it contains raisin and anise flavors that are very special. Hope the Queen tried at least a little of it.
9- Macallan 55 year old in Lalique Crystal Decanter

The Macallan 55 Years Old single malt is cask strength (40.1% abv), and has remained undisturbed for over half a century at the Easter Elchies House, the Macallan’s spiritual home in Speyside, Scotland, where it matured through the decades in a sherry oak cask. Dark rosewood in color, the liquid has aromatic notes of sweet dried fruits, while the finish is wonderfully soft, smooth and spicy, with lingering touches of citrus. It is said that this single bottle was bought by a group of friends in 2005 who finished it in one sitting.
5- 1926 Macallan Fine and Rare Collection

This is the oldest in the Fine and Rare collection of Macallan. It was distilled in 1926 and wasn’t bottled until 1986. Only 40 bottles were produced. The single malt blend is dry and concentrated, as no water has been added. The color reflects that of the old barrel.
4- Glenfiddich Janet Sheed Roberts Reserve 1955.

Glenfiddich had a barrel of Scotch whiskey that has been aging since New Year’s Eve of 1955. When Janet Sheed Roberts, the granddaughter of Glenfiddich’s founder William Grant, passed away at the ripe old age of 110, the company decided to honor her by making 15 bottles from the said barrel. Four were kept by the family, while the rest were auctioned off. This whiskey has been acclaimed for its floral, fruity and sweet taste.
3- Dalmore 64 Trinitas

Its name comes from the fact that there were only 3 bottles ever made of this whiskey. It is a blend from rare stocks containing malts that date from 1868, 1878, 1926 and 1939. This was the first whiskey to be sold in six figures. No one knows how it tastes or who bought it.

This bottle of single malt whiskey in a LaliqueCire Perdue decanter was sold in 2010 at an auction, with the proceeds going to charity. This whiskey is unusual in that it was made with peated malt because of the then-prohibitive prices of coal that shot up because of World War II.
