Cablevision Systems Corp (CVC): GAMCO Investors Trims Exposure

As revealed in a recent 13D filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Mario Gabelli‘s GAMCO Investors and its affiliates collectively own a total of 10.73 million Class A Common shares of Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE:CVC), which amass 4.82% of the company’s outstanding stock.  The stake was reduced from 13.05 million shares, equal to 5.86% of the company’s outstanding stock that the funds reported as holding in aggregate in a March filing.

Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE:CVC) is a media and telecommunication company that offers a plethora of professional services in the cable television and high-speed Internet segments. Over the past 12, months the company’s shares have increased by 66.05%.
