Bruce Berkowitz’s Fairholme Capital Management Reports Stake in Sears Holdings Corp. (SHLD)

In its latest filing, Bruce Berkowitz‘s Fairholme Capital Management has reported ownership of 24.23 million shares of Sears Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:SHLD). The stake amasses 22.8% and represents an increase from 20.76 million shares held by the fund at the end of the third quarter of 2013.

At the end of the third quarter of 2013, Edward Lampert’s Esl Investments owned 33.86 million shares of Sears Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:SHLD), with a reported value of around $2.01 billion. In January, Mr. Lampert reported receiving around 7,200 shares of Sears Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:SHLD), where he is the Chief Executive Officer.

Earlier, in December, ESL Investment reduced its stake in Sears Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:SHLD) to some 51.6 million shares, from more than 55.9 million shares held earlier.

Earlier this month, Sears Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:SHLD) announced the appointments of Norman Miller and Mark Panzer. Miller is joining the company as senior vice president and president, automotive. Mark Panzer was named as senior vice president and president, pharmacy.

Miller most recently served as president and COO of Dollar Financial Corp, while Panzer, previously, served as president and CEO of Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy Inc.
