Box Inc (BOX): Bares Capital Management Reports New Stake

According to a recent 13G filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Brian Bares Bares Capital Management has added a new position to its portfolio by acquiring 4.63 million shares of Box Inc (NYSE:BOX), which represent 10.9% of the company’s outstanding stock.

Box (NYSE:BOX) provides an online content management and file sharing services for businesses through their mobile-optimized Enterprise Content Collaboration platform that works on a plethora of devices. Over the past 12 months, the company’s shares have dropped by 30.7% . Recently, the company has launched a service that enables businesses in Asia and Europe to store data regionally.

According to Insider Monkey’s hedge fund database, the number of investors long Box (NYSE:BOX) increased to eight during the fourth quarter and Philippe Laffont’s Coatue Management disclosed the most valuable position worth around $42.2 million. The second-biggest position was reported by Matthew Knauer and Mina Faltas’ Nokota Management, which reported a $23.2 million.
