Baron Funds is Bullish in CoreSite Realty (COR), Here’s Why

Baron Funds, an asset management firm, published its “Baron Real Estate Fund” second quarter 2021 investor letter – a copy of which can be downloaded here. A quarterly return of 4.65% was delivered by the fund’s institutional shares for the Q2 of 2021, below both its MSCI Real Estate and MSCI US REIT benchmarks that delivered 6.99% and 11.74% returns respectively for the same period. In the Q2 2021 investor letter of Baron Funds, the fund mentioned CoreSite Realty Corporation (NYSE: COR) and discussed its stance on the firm. CoreSite Realty Corporation is a Denver, Colorado-based real estate investment trust company with a $6.3 billion market capitalization. COR delivered a 13.98% return since the beginning of the year, extending its 12-month returns to 15.39%. The stock closed at $142.79 per share on August 13, 2021.
