Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is currently in the middle of many rumors, mainly because of its new concept, the iWatch, which is expected to usher in a new era in the world of technology. The concept, which is rumored to appear in stores as early as the end of 2013, has a symbolic meaning for Cupertino’s prospects moving forward.

In an earlier post, Insider Monkey quoted Sanford C. Bernstein’s analyst Toni Sacconaghi: “The successful introduction of the device could illustrate that innovation remains high at Apple and underscore the option value of owning Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) as a platform company – i.e., having a large and loyal iOS installed base that Apple can sell additional products and services into.”

Despite the fact that no one knows when exactly Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iWatch will be launched, and even if it will happen at all, there are many rumors regarding what to expect from this device. For example, Insider Monkey discussed Business Insider’s thoughts in an earlier story: “Features under consideration include letting users make calls, see the identity of incoming callers and check map coordinates, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified because the plans aren’t public. It would also house a pedometer for counting steps and sensors for monitoring health-related data, such as heart rates, this person said.”

Another rumor has pondered the possibility that basically, the iWatch will have similar functions to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone or iPad. It is also speculated that Apple is armed with a team of about 100 designers, engineers, and programmers working on the device.

The release of an iWatch is considered to be a good potential play by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) in terms of profit as well. Sacconaghi considers that if the device retails for $250 and only 5% to 8% of current iPhone users buy one, that would translate into $3.4 billion to $5.7 billion in annual revenues. Until now, Apple has not whiffed with the releases of the iPhone, iPod, or iPad, so any new device is inherently supported by this stellar track record.

As the saying goes, it is better to see something once than to hear it a hundred times. But how about seeing 14 times?

We have collected 14 videos which present different concepts of a potential future Apple iWatch. The videos present specifications, and concepts of the iWatch that is expected to be released this year, but also some ideas regarding the future versions of the device. If the release will match all the rumors, it is definitely going to be an useful thing to buy, which should once again establish Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) as the king of innovation in the tech world.
