Andrew Sandler’s Hedge Fund Gets Out of National Technical Systems

Andrew Sandler, Sandler Capital Management: Andrew Sandler’s hedge fund, Sandler Capital Management, ceased its ownership of shares of National Technical Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTSC). The stake previously held by Sandler involved around 682,600 shares, and represented 5.9% of the company. Earlier in August, National Technical Systems announced it was entering into an Agreement and Plan of Merger with regards to its purchase by Aurora Capital Group, which offered a price of $23 per share. The merger is yet to be approved by NTSC shareholders; a meeting is set at the end of this month.
