The lyrics of “Perfect Illusion” are about the singer’s highest of highs and lowest of lows in her relationship. Many speculated that the song was about Gaga’s ex-boyfriend Taylor Kinney, but it was refuted by the singer. This song reached number 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in the United States and it was a hit worldwide.
